The SM50 range uses switch mode power supply technology to give efficient charging with low heat dissipation in a compact, lightweight package. The low ripple output make the SM50 suitable for wet lead-acid, sealed VRLA or Planté cells.
Model SM50A has an intelligent, 3-stage charge regime that limits the current output while the battery voltage is below a preset level.
