The Guardian range provides high-rate, multi-stage charging for heavy duty batteries, used in industrial applications such as engine starting for diesel driven pumps, fire pumps and power generators.

The thyristor-based, low ripple charge output provides safe and reliable charging for all high capacity battery types, vented or sealed, lead-acid, VRLA or NiCd. The charge output is backed up by additional relay outputs for signalling of charge fail, high volt and low volt faults.

The Guardian range is UL 1236 and CSA approved (click here for certification), and available in open-frame or wall-mounted variants. Guardian FP models have been configured especially for charging engine starter batteries in FM/NFPA25 compliant fire pump applications.
