The CVR under and over voltage relay provides early warning of a battery or DC supply voltage problem. The CVR monitors the voltage of its own DC supply. High and low voltage faults are signalled by separate relay outputs; the low voltage relay includes a time delay to override momentary voltage dips (e.g. due to normal loading such as engine starting).
